We are so happy to be celebrating our third year serving our community & clients with data analysis & storytelling.
After three years of LifeSpring, our founder reflects on the journey thus far:
I started LifeSpring Consulting three years ago, working primarily on projects in Chicago (my current home) and Buffalo, NY (where I was raised). I was a self-proclaimed data nerd who thought LifeSpring would be the space where I combined my research acumen with my love of automation to build tools that "help the little guy." LifeSpring was going to help small businesses and nonprofits enhance their community development work by expanding their analytical capacity.

While I've built my fair share of dashboards and scorecards, it didn’t take long to realize that the heart of LifeSpring’s work actually lies in storytelling. We may table at community events, conduct surveys, analyze company financials, or map neighborhood conditions, but we ultimately use all of the information we gather to craft stories that help clients understand opportunities to enhance their programmatic impact. What began as a one-woman operation eager to leverage innovative tools for local clients has blossomed into a team of people helping organizations strengthen their community development work across the Midwest, Northeast, and West Coast.
We’ve endured trying times brought about by political and economic instability, but we’ve made it to the three-year mark in no small part due to the support of our partners and clients. This milestone symbolizes the power of building communal networks just as much as it speaks to the value clients see in engaging with our work. We are grateful to the organizations and communities that have welcomed us with open arms, and we look forward to continued partnership with folks who share our commitment to generating actionable solutions for community change.
